This group supervision is a process which supports family dispute resolution practitioners, to provide a better, more confident and creative service to clients.
Limited to 8 participants per group, this group supervision is designed for professionals who want to reflect on their professional interactions with clients and learn from colleagues. This session is aimed at family dispute resolution (FDR) practitioners, and mediators who seek support, want to engage in reflective practice and discuss challenging cases.
As a casual drop-in session, the supervision is designed to provide support around both urgent matters as well as ongoing issues in your work. Group members can choose to attend one, multiple or the whole series of sessions, depending on their needs and challenges.
Participants are encouraged to bring along a case study to the workshop.

About the supervisors
Astrid Horter is the program leader for learning delivery at Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV). She holds tertiary qualifications in law and psychology and is an experienced Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP), mediator and child consultant. Astrid leads the delivery of RAV’s accredited training programs, provides supervision to external organisations and designs and facilitates customised workshops. She has extensive experience working in community organisations as a clinical supervisor, trainer and manager.
Adrien March is a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) with a broad base of skills and experience, including mediation practice, training and dispute resolution research. Her practice experience covers mediating using facilitative and transformative models in the Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) and Australian Mediator and Dispute Resolution Accreditation Standards (AMDRAS) schemes. Adrien’s specialisations include working with rainbow families and high-conflict disputes. Her training expertise includes course development and conducting FDR and NMAS training, coaching and evaluation for RAV and other organisations.
Cath Tregillis is a highly experienced Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) with qualifications in dispute resolution and family therapy. She has worked across community organisations as a manager, clinical supervisor and trainer and has provided mediation and restorative processes in family, community and workplace settings. She is currently a trainer and assessor within Relationships Australia Victoria’s (RAVs) Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) and mediation training programs.

- Registrations for scheduled workshops close 48 hours before the event.
- Workshops must be paid for at least 2 business days before the training date, or your registration will be cancelled.
- If paying by invoice, proof of payment needs to be provided at least 24 hours ahead of the event.
