Mental Health Impacts of Loneliness and Isolation

The isolating impacts of COVID-19 have created an epidemic of people suffering from mental health conditions.

In this video, Lilia Szarski will explain loneliness and isolation and explore how to recognise when clients or colleagues are in need of support.

In addition, strategies for assisting others to manage challenging situations will be unpacked, whilst also emphasising the need for self-care when supporting others.

About the presenter

Lilia Szarski is a clinical supervisor and experienced trainer at Relationships Australia Victoria and a qualified, registered psychologist. She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society, International Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the International Association of Applied Psychologists.
