Tuning in to Kids® for Vietnamese parents

Meet other Vietnamese-speaking parents and carers and learn how to understand your child's feelings, communicate well and manage conflict in healthy ways.

What this group can help with

This free, culturally-tailored program is delivered in Vietnamese.

It can help you to:

  • understand your child’s feelings, including anger, sadness or worry
  • understand how your child’s feelings impact their behaviour
  • understand and manage feelings that come up for you as a parent
  • connect and talk with your child in positive ways
  • support your child as they develop social skills
  • manage your child’s challenging behaviours
  • help your child express emotions and respond to their feelings in appropriate ways.

This knowledge will support your child’s emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is a skill that helps children and adults to be more resilient, have healthy relationships, and manage hard experiences.
