Neighbour Day

Relationships Australia is proud to be the home of Neighbour Day, Australia’s annual celebration of community.

Whilst Neighbour Day is officially celebrated on the last Sunday in March each year, the 2021 theme is ‘Every day is neighbour day’ – building on the growing movement of people taking neighbourly actions every day of the year.

As part of the celebrations, Neighbour Day’s Tell Us Your Story competition invites you to share your stories about neighbourly connections over the past year.

These can be actions that you or others have taken to reach out to people in your community, new neighbourly connections you’ve made, places and services that foster connection in your community, or any other good news story about social connection.
