New Pride flags to be implemented across Relationships Australia Victoria

We are pleased to announce that we are now using a new selection of Pride flags across Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), including our communications.  

The 3 flags, including the 8-stripe ‘More Colour, More Pride’ Flag, Transgender Pride Flag and Intersex Pride Flag, were chosen by our Rainbow Working Group after a process of research and consultation with LGBTIQA+ services across the sector. 

RAV celebrates diversity and recognises that visible representation is an important part of creating safe spaces for LGBTIQA+ staff and clients. 

We hope that these new flags will better represent the rich diversity of the LGBTIQA+ community, including LGBTIQA+ people of colour, transgender people and intersex people, demonstrate​ our commitment to inclusion and make our services and centres more welcoming and accessible.  

If you have a suggestion to assist us in making our organisation even more LGBTIQA+ friendly, we’d love you to share this with us. 

In 6-12 months’ time, we will also be inviting feedback from staff and the wider community on our use of these flags.
