30 May 2024
Are you an LGBTIQA+ young person or ally aged 16-25? Join us this Pride Month to explore queer history.
Ever wondered what it’s like to be LGBTIQA+? What was it like 40 years ago, or 100 years ago? Are you curious to know why a pub called the Stonewall Inn is important? Do you know when the rainbow flag was first flown? Ever heard of a pink triangle?
Now’s your opportunity to learn in a safe space with others. Together we will create a timeline of key moments in the lives of LGBTIQA+ people. Join co-facilitators Emma Hofmeyer (she/her - they/them) and Allison Trethowan (she/her) for this free session.
Anyone who identifies as LGBTIQA+ or an ally and is aged 16-25 is welcome to attend.
Relationships Australia Victoria is proud to support this event, which is delivered in partnership with Uniting, Goulburn Valley Pride and the OUTintheOPEN Festival.
When: Wednesday 5 June 2024 from 5-7:30pm.
